Picnic, Trail Ride, Officer Election, OH MY!

Willamette Farms has been reserved for the club Sept 20 to have the trail ride/picnic/wine tasting there.
The charges will be a $5 tasting fee per person & $5 per rider trail ride fee.

Trail ride @ 1pm...food @ 3:30pm......The event will be insured thru ODS so the trail ride is open to everybody!!  We will be holding our officer elections at the picnic as well....Eric and I will bring the Traeger (BBQ) and I'm taking suggestions for grill items!!!

We can do a pot luck picnic as usual. There's picnic tables on the deck or if the weather's bad, we can set up tables & eat in the tasting room. There's a basketball court too if anyone wants to shoot some hoops...bring your own ball.
The farm has 80+ acres of riding/hiking trails, enough to go for over 2 hours on the trails.

There is a filbert orchard, several Xmas tree groves, old growth forest, 2 big ponds to go around, 2 bridges to cross, hills, a "river side roller coaster" trail... all mowed. We can do a little trot or even a canter in some areas, if the group is up for it but NO SCREAMING PLEASE!


All riders will need to wear helmets & sign a release form.


There is trailer parking in the "grass arena/event parking" pasture which can be closed off once everybody is in while we eat, in case there may be a loose horse.


Willamette Farms, owned by the Hall family, is located at the end of Parrish Rd (just about 1/4 mile East from Suzi Ronning's place) off Wilsonville Rd in Newberg. WF produces Vercingetorix-VX Pinot Wines & their wines will be available for purchase.
